A private community for the C-suite · By invitation

Some rooms never make the papers.

The Library Group is a private, free community for C-level executives. Off the record, by invitation, and no one inside is selling anything.

The White House Washington

DATE: MARCH 25, 1973
RE:   AN INFORMAL GATHERING, GROUND-FLOOR LIBRARY

Four finance ministers met quietly in the White House library. No press. No staff. No agenda beyond honest conversation between people carrying the same weight.

The room gave the group its name. The Library Group grew into the G7.

Fifty years later, we are building that room for the C-suite.

The Charter

Three rules govern the room.

They are short because they are enforced.

I.

No salespeople.

Membership is reserved for sitting and transitioning C-level executives. Anyone carrying a quota stays outside, including our sponsors.

II.

No pitching.

Nothing said inside the room is a lead. One violation ends membership.

III.

The Chatham House Rule.

Use what you learn freely. Never attribute who said it, and never repeat who was in the room.

What happens inside

Quiet rooms do real work.

Library Sessions

Monthly off the record webinars and roundtables with operators worth hearing, hosted by our founding stewards and invited guests. No recordings leave the room.

Quiet introductions

When you are exploring your next seat, we make confidential introductions to boards, CEOs, and investors before roles are ever posted. Your name moves only when you say it can.

A vetted bench

Every member is verified by a person, not an algorithm. The peers you meet here hold the seats they say they hold.

Membership

Free. Vetted. By invitation.

Who belongs here

Chief executives, chief financial officers, chief operating officers, chief human resources officers, and their C-level peers. Sitting or in transition.

What it costs

Nothing. Membership is free and stays free. The group is founded with support from Vensure and Solvo, who follow the same rules as everyone else.

How to join

By invitation from the group, or by referral from a current member. A person reads every request.

Founding stewards

The people who keep the room honest.

Walter Sabrin
Chief Talent Officer, Vensure
Jorge Zubiria
Chief Executive Officer, Solvo Global

Day to day, the room is run by a community director who holds no sales role and carries no quota.

Request an invitation

If you hold the seat, the door is open.

Tell us who you are and what seat you hold. A person reads every request, and every conversation stays confidential.

Prefer a referral? Ask any member. They know the way in. Or write to membership@librarygroup.org.
